Founded in 1919, Jordan Ford is proud to be San Antonio’s oldest Ford dealership! Marc Cross and Mike Trompeter are very proud to run the Jordan Ford dealership started in San Antonio in 1919 by the Jordan brothers. Buddy Jordan, the son of one of the original Jordan brothers, saw the city growing to the North East and asked Ford to give him the first shot at the next new location. In 1985, Jordan Ford opened their doors at its current location on I-35.
Mike Trompeter joined the dealership in 1985 as controller. Marc was the former zone manager from Ford Motor Company and was so impressed with the Jordan family and Jordan Ford that he joined the company in 1987. When Buddy announced he was going to sell the dealership in 2003, Marc and Mike knew they didn’t want to work for anyone else so they bought the company. Jordan Ford has always had a strong, positive reputation and they wanted to build on that. Menu pricing, which is the lowest possible price up front, started in the 80s and is one of the many innovations that make Jordan Ford stand out among all dealerships.
Jordan Ford, in conjunction with the other Ford dealerships in the area and Ford Motor Company, has donated over $12 million in scholarship funds to San Antonio high school students. Jordan Ford has set up a committee, Jordan Enhancement Team (JET), to select multiple local organizations to contribute to each quarter. Our dealership cares about giving back to the community as much as exceeding our customer’s expectations.
